Craig's Party Jan 12 08

You would have thought (or fervently hoped) that, finally, the over-eating and over-drinking of the last Christmas Holidays were over so you can start shedding the acquired pounds and lowering the unhealthy cholesterol levels.

Now comes Craig inviting the Agilas to a party on Jan 12.

So the longest Christmas season in the world gets extended for an extra week and we earnestly feasted on the delicious fare that Lolit prepared, fittingly complimented by cold beers and enhanced by the warm comradeship of the Agilas. And with the Good Ole Tanduay animating the story-telling of the boys and sharpening the Libikers’ running commentaries, not even the heavy downpour managed to dampen the evening’s merriment by an inch.

Happy Birthday Ading!

Last year’s last official ride also coincided with our Official Mechanic’s birthday. (I am told Ading's real name is Rizalino, as December 30 is Rizal day. The picture shows Ading waiting for the candles in his birthday cake to be lit prior to blowing them.)

Ever cheerful, the resourceful, hardworking and dependable Ading is our indispensable insurance whenever the Agilas go on a ride.

Malita Ride (Dec 30 2007)

Ronnie sent these pictures of the Malita Ride last December 30. He reports that it was a great ride; the roads are very, very good, and the zigzags “mas maganda” than those on the road to Mati. The ride was particularly significant to our Official Mechanic Ading who celebrated his birthday that day. And celebrate they did. For lunch, the riders and the Libakers had kinilaw na bariles, sugbang pandawan and pork belly. Flor sponsored the breakfast and afternoon merienda. Thanks!

The Malita ride had all the ingredients an Agila ride - nice roads, good weather, warm camaraderie, and yummy food. It was indeed a perfect year-ender ride.
