Jerome’s B-day Party (and Election of Officers for the Year 2008)

The required quorum was achieved to legally celebrate Jerome’s 27th birthday last February 7. Lovely wife Micmic played gracious hostess to the riders in their house at Juna Subdivision. With delicious grilled food, cold beers and the company of friends, what more can one ask for?

By the way, later in the evening, as no scandals could be substantiated against any of the officers last year, they were re-elected to the same positions this year. Lone Comelec Committee Past President Ping made sure that the election was clean, honest, and fair.

We wish Jerome the best and we are certain that the current administration will concentrate on organizing numerous and enjoyable rides and parties and refrain from performing acts inimical to the public good.

Nabunturan Ride Feb 3 2008

The plan was to ride to BUDA, and if the weather was nice and the spirit was willing, to continue all the way to Quezon. But as soon as group reached Calinan, it was obvious from the look of the incoming vehicles that rain was pouring heavily further down the planned route.

The group stopped and decided to turn back. To make the best of the day, it was suggested to have a leisurely lunch at the “hito-an” in Ulas. Then why not have steak in Nabunturan, another Agila rider suggested.

So the group headed to Nabunturan, Davao del Norte, around 100 kilometers from the city, to have lunch.

Bohol Ride 2007

It seems we are skipping our annual Bohol pilgrimage this year.

A look back at last year’s ride might help lessen the longing…

Thanks to Rez for the pictures.
